CTN for Togo

The Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) is a mandatory document required for shipments to Togo. It’s essentially a registration system aimed at improving security and monitoring of cargo entering Togo.

The ECTN contains information about the cargo being transported, such as its nature, origin, destination, and other relevant details.

It’s typically required for both imports and exports to or from Togo. Failure to obtain an ECTN can result in delays or penalties for the involved parties.

It’s always important to check with your shipping agent or the relevant authorities for the most up-to-date requirements and procedures regarding ECTNs for shipments to Togo.

Togo ports are used for transit purposes to Burkina Faso and Niger, as well as Ghana and Benin. Whether the goods discharged at the Togo ports for transit purposes or as a final destination, each shipment must have valid Togo ECTN certificate.
